 I engaged the Closet Factory to undertake a complete renovation of our two master bedroom walk-in closets as well as to overhaul one of the children’s closets. Prior to contracting with them, I met on-site with several other competing companies. In Suzanne’s thorough presentation and deliberate approach we found the exact balance that had been missing with the others. She carefully listened to our opinions, took meticulous measurements and explained the pros-and-cons of the many different options that Closet Factory offers.

We found Suzanne to be exceptionally knowledgeable and a true partner in the project. She produced detailed drawings of the layout, which we found to include more detail, and a more thoughtful design, than others we were given. Additionally, Suzanne was able to recommend options that enabled us to retain features we wanted, but also meet our budget.

A key differentiator in regards to Closet Factory that we found was their ability to produce a true custom product and do so on-site at their Raleigh location. We discovered that some “custom closet” competitors predominantly utilize off-the-shelf components and provide a minimum of customization, which may result in compromises or a less-than-ideal fit. In addition, the gentlemen who manufacture the product for Closet Factory are the same that come and perform the installation. This ensured that the work went smoothly and that the craftsmanship was first-rate. They were timely, professional and polite, leaving the worksite in immaculate condition when they left for the day.

Following the installation, my wife and I decided that the handles we had chosen were not exactly to our-taste. Suzanne graciously performed additional research, sent us a variety of other options, organized for samples to be sent, and worked with us to have the replacement handles installed. In my experience, most vendors would have been dismayed at the change, wanting to put the project behind them, or at least taken advantage of the opportunity to generate expensive change orders. Suzanne made every effort to make sure that we were satisfied with the results.
