Once the ‘foundation’ is there, the ‘make-up’ can be applied in many ways. Your closets and storage areas should reflect your style like the rest of your home. Using my interior decorating eye, I will make suggestions and narrow selections to ease your decision-making processes.

When the client takes me for a ‘quick look’ of the project area, I get a sense of the amount of space we have to work with, and then ask, ‘what do you envision here? Understanding your vision first, I then ask questions leading to elements we need to include in your design to bring your vision to form.

Closet planning for many of my clients is so exciting we meet even before the walls are up! This can be challenging since no walls usually mean, no inventory, but working together, we create a design/solution to look forward to.

I enjoy asking my clients about their likes and dislikes. I keep notes and their ‘wish lists’. When designing, I frequently review to these notes and check off the wishes met, so my client knows that I listened and that I care.

Ones home style is often categorized as traditional, contemporary, transitional, etc. However, I never predetermine the style of our project. If they wish to be consistent great; but if not, I am there to help them try something new or trendy.

Home offices are more than workspace and storage. The type of business that the office determines much of the style and function; from geometric wallpaper backing for daycare centers to wood grain cabinets & crystal knobs for ‘her’ office. 

Just like throwing colorful pillows on your beige couch; try adding a little detail to make your space unique. Blingy hardware, floating shelves, contrasting drawer faces, etc.
