Ever since I can remember, I’ve been organizing. As a child, it was the furniture in my room. As a nurse in the ICU, it was my patients and their care.
For the past 14 years as a Closet Factory owner and designer, I’ve helped organize my clients’ lives. With a strong design, any space can be turned into an environment of peace and efficiency.
By uniting form and function into a single concept, each client’s personality and style becomes tangible!
Keep it simple! Keeping the design simple with open, clean lines creates an alluring space that is not only organized but elegant and livable.
“We are happy with the result – we now have an organized closet that is sturdy and looks great. Everyone was very friendly and professional during the whole the process. The Sales Person and the Installer were both very prompt (arrived at the agreed to times), worked quickly and made the process very easy for us.”

“How do you first approach a space? In other words, what’s the first thing you think about when you first see a client’s closet space/storage problem?”
I approach a space by looking for a focal point or a line of sight so that every time you walk by that open door, you see something of visual interest or an aesthetically pleasing feature. It can be a piece of artwork, fashionable shoes, that favorite purse or a collection of watches, something that stands out among the crowdedness of our lives.
“What is the biggest design obstacle you’ve overcome? i.e. awkwardly angled walls, electrical sockets in bizarre places, big collections in small spaces.”
In my opinion one of the biggest obstacles to overcome is making sure the results I deliver are the results my client expects. Having a positive energetic attitude helps develop a good rapport ensuring a good end result.
“Since collaboration is such an integral part of the design process, how do you like to engage or connect with clients in order to help them realize their vision for a space?”
You start your day here and you end your day here. How do YOU want to start your day? With an organized closet, in a few moments you can set the tone and pace of your day. Feeling good about yourself and how you look, brings peace of mind and self-satisfaction.
“How are you inspired by a home’s existing décor? Is there anything specific that you look for during an in-home consultation?”
I like to first find out how they feel about their own Décor. Are they coming to completion or are they just starting the remodeling process? I ask a series of questions to get to the core of the problem or what prompted them to ask me into their home. From there I draft a space that draws on the positives and removes the undesirables to finish the look.
“What are some modern organizational trends, or what’s a trend you’re looking for?”
In my opinion, today’s trends are geared towards feeling like you are shopping in your closet. Having it feel like a boutique, and your inventory is ready and waiting to get you started and off to a super fantastic day!
